Holy Crap! 20 days!
There's only 20 days until the wedding *flails* How the hell did that happen? That's nearly in the teens! Craziness. *shakes head* We've gotten lots done, but there are all of these little things that need doing still. I can revel in the fact that I finished mailing out all of the thank you cards from the bridal shower this morning. We've also paid off our photographer, and have scheduled our meeting to get our marriage license. We still need to meet with our DJ in order to go over playlists and what have you. My dress is nearly finished. Just one more fitting, which I'm doing the first day of our pre-wedding vacation. Which is also the same night as both my Bachelorette Party and Magus's party (two separate events I assure you).
I'm a little nervous about my party, to be honest. I have a feeling that i'm going to have a great time, but that I'll also be embarrassed on levels that I never even thought of before! My MOH has but a lot of effort into though, a lot more effort then I was really expecting, and between her and the other ladies, I'm sure it'll be a good time for all. Even if I will be coming home in a outfit not of my own choosing (Don't ask, because I have NO idea. All I know is that I was warned to wear black undergarments.)
This Sunday we have an outing to the Paper Source in Georgetown scheduled, so that I can get to work on the place cards for the reception. I was just going to have them made for us, since I'd managed to avoid all other DIY projects for this wedding. But time and cost restrictions have changed my mind. Hopefully, those will be done within the the week. I won't fool myself into thinking I can get them done before then! I also need to complete a few other items for the reception as well. Which will require at least one trip to either Michael's or A.C. Moore. Whichever one I remember the nearest location of first.
