Well I was "screwed" and survived *g* At least the dentist laughed as he never heard it put that way. The screwing of the actual metal in sucked - was odd to feel it twisted into your jaw bone almost as bad as listening to them drill to get it inside. 8 Stitches later and he asked the girl for a "bit of bone" which I'm trying not to get grossed out on the idea of. Still bleeding pretty good (was done at 9:45) and didn't let them gas me or knock me out just 1 shot to numb above the tooth so I was able to drive myself home.
I feel as though I accomplished what I'm told most do knocked out. Granted it also saved us 300.00 in anesthetics fees as well.
