There was a discussion about how the wraith restored Ronon's life when he was already dead in EATG. Wraith canon shows they can suck the life force from their victim to near death and restore themselves (Rising), give it to their brothers (Sheppard in Common Ground) or to their worshippers (Satedans in Reunion and Ronon in Broken Ties). We've NEVER seen wraith restore life from death until now...the last episode of the series shows Ronon die from a knife puncture to his lungs in EATG. What has to be at least 10 minutes later, if not more, a wraith restores Ronon to life and heals his wound in order to interrogate him. How is this possible?? There were some serious discussions on the thread, which is why I love the thread. But of course, I can never seriously think enough to come up with something tangible to offer so I resort to other...err, things...
RODNEY: He's dead. He can't talk.
MIRACLE WRAITH: Well, it just so happens that your friend here is only mostly
dead. There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. (puts feeding hand on Ronon's chest)
MIRACLE WRAITH: Now, mostly dead is slightly alive. Now, all dead...well, with all dead, there's usually only one thing that you can do. (begins to restore Ronon's lifeforce)
RODNEY: What's that?
MIRACLE WRAITH: Go through his hair and look for loose knives. (continues restoration)
MIRACLE WRAITH (to Ronon): Hey! Hello in there. Hey! What's so important? What you got here that's worth living for? (finishes restoration)
RONON: k...ll .....wh..aith..... (gasps, jumps up and holds sword to Miracle Wraith's neck)
MIRACLE WRAITH: Oh crap...
