An interesting article on Katrina and it's possible effects on global economics and oil consumption from the French Liberation.fr:

It's interesting how globalization (in business) effects the world, however, it seems to be a natural progression of business and world growth. [I prefer not to debate cultural globalization today, because I'm tired and must be awake early].
Ahhh...and the girlfriend starts work at Ford Motor Company here near St. Petersburg tomorrow morning. She is very happy (except for having to get up before 9 a.m., which before August was 11 a.m.). This is why I must get up so early. I will be up earlier doing the breakfast thing tomorrow. Early is too bad, however, breakfast is one of my few 'routine' tasks.
Also, I hope to talk about going to China tomorrow. I'm not sure what will happen or if the person involved will have time to talk with me about things (requirements, accommodation, travel, etc.), but it will be better than trying to fit it in to my day schedule on Friday, which seems to be filled already...again. But, honestly, I like busy usually--as long as I like my work.
Lastly, I'm feeling a bit crazy. OK, OK, I know that I'm often feeling crazy. But today it's the fault of clients. Two very crazy girls being the little Geico Chipmunks. Remember those? Actually, I'll have to tell the story of the Russian chipmunks later.
Good night!!
