Question of the Day

Sep 21, 2005 00:10

The "Books for Dummies" and the "Books for Idiots" series are translated into every major language, are big sellers, and sometime writers' names are changed to suit culture and people so that the readers of other cultures will be more 'receptive' of the advice.

So:

If these "Books for Idiots" are so popular and are read in so many countries, does that mean that the world is full of idiots?

Also, if someone buys one of these books, is it an admission to the world of their own idiocy?

books, idiots, stupidity, humor, humour, dummies
