News and Forums and BizNezzzz

Well, business is going pretty well. I seem to want to do my own work when I could have workers do it. (I wouldn't do it, but I'm reliable and available on the spot...but more expensive for me to pay. :-\ )

I'm reporting now. It's fun, but we're just starting we'll see what happens. I still need to find time to get Anton (in Murmansk) some articles and another for an organization in London (whom I may name later...contracts pending). Then I'm trying to keep a good presence on my friend's forum. I enjoy it, but there's been a little less activity lately for my area. I'll need to find something new to write there as it keeps his pages fresh and I seem to be useful. :-)

Actually, I'm busy because I'm enjoying it...but I should prepare for being really busy later or I'll have too much pretty soon. I know there is at least on program that will have me running around like crazy and I hate to have too much stacked on with it. (Although the writing makes sense and it's usually interesting but strange stuff that I find. :-) )

Friday was busy for me and I was a walking zombie with a cold and probably a fever. I was quite disoriented and only one person really noticed--not bad. I told the girlfriend...but by the time she saw me I was doing much better with only a small migraine. (Trust me, small is tolerable.)

So then, as I'm determined not to let it get me down, I was preparing to visit some expats in the city. I haven't met most of them as I've been a hermit and usually don't agree with my own kind. Luckily, they were mostly Brits and I had fun. Finally met and talked to alex_j, whom I've given a hard time and have ran into a few places on the internet. (Sorry, Alex, but sometimes I have to be a smart-ass). I met other interesting and very nice people also...but I had to go and had work to do the next day. Several of them can be found here: www.visarus.co.uk. It's a friend's site created for English teachers living in Saint Petersburg, but then turned into a world EFL, TEFL, and English teachers' site. It's a lot of fun.

Today was fun. I went with the same friend to IKEA. I only needed a cup, but I had told him some weeks ago that I would go with him and couldn't. Today I could and so I did. My flat (apartment) was full of plumbers and owners and radiator mess anyway (and Sveta had to stay home for that while I worked).

OK...Now I'm tired, crazy, and need sleep. I'll either be shopping for clothes or huddled at home tomorrow...I need sleep now for both and it's almost 3 am!!!
