Coming Days

Well, with winter arriving on a white force, I find myself with more time on my hands.
I was assured yesterday that I will be working much more when November comes, which has caused me to miss out on other opportunities from various other employers who have recently asked me for those particular freelance services which I provide.
[That's right, other schools have asked me to take classes, and I've already promised my time to my initial school.]
As well, I hope to ask (or will need to clarify) whether we know when our journey and work will begin in China.
I fear that it will begin after January, which would be a shame to miss Chinese New Year. However, I think that economically it would make more sense, since in Russia we will have the 1st of January through the 10th of January as a mandatory vacation and holiday, and then China takes it's New Year's Holiday from sometime around the 29th of January and then lasting about the same 10 day period.
Personally, I would be happy to work throughout those holiday periods. I'm not sure about China, but it really isn't an option for us in Russia.

Anyway, while I appreciate a lag time and I don't mind going through some slower times of a month, I still prefer to work. However, I still can't bring myself to work a lesser and more menial job all day for the same pay and the same standards of living--which seems to be the case in both Russia and especially in America.  Alas, it seems that I simply require either more degrees and experience for the Western world or just more initiative and involvement in the Eastern world to solve my problems.

As usual, it's up to me...and that's the initiative that some of us have lost along the way.
