Trying to Keep on Track
It's a habit that I'm trying not to break, to keep going like I know I should. I spent today putting together wedding invitations and writing two blog posts.
The abnormally warm weather continues, and I keep looking forward to starting at mosquito control next Monday. Real, high-paying work. For all those years of studying in libraries, learning foreign languages, and teaching in front of classrooms, the job that keeps me alive is still trudging through the swamps and murdering billions of mosquitoes. The good thing is that mosquitoes are the #1 non-natural killer of humans for all time, what with malaria and yellow fever. You know, just a little bit of disease here and there.
I'm off to drop off some papers to LeMeg at school and then go to see my mom after that. Time to get out and enjoy that heat!
