So we found out yesterday that we're having a boy. I would have been happy either way, but I am a LITTLE disappointed that I probably won't be sharing "Pride and Prejudice" or "Anne of Green Gables" with, shall we say, such a willing audience later in life. However, I am pleased that my dad seems over the moon about having a grandson.
I was looking through the genealogies last night and found "Jacques Alexandre Chevalier" (born 1620 somewhere around Coutance, Normandy) in Matt's French tree. How cool is that? Roughly translated: James Alexander Knight. Sweet. We kind of like James Alexander. My Scottish ancestor is also a James--James Love of Ayershire. However, we were toying with changing the middle name to Patrick, Matt's Irish great-great grandfather. James Patrick Loftus. Thoughts?
