Yesterday I pulled a nice metal folding step ladder out of the dumpster. Well, from beside it. Still. I've been wanting one since the only things in the apartment I can stand on are two bar stools that swivel, and I'm terrified of standing on them because of that. So now I have a step ladder. And it was free. :D

I just totally found a really comfy, almost-new rocking chair outside of the dumpster. Today I found a copy of "Anal Asians Exposed!" in the ditch. I almost went down there to retrieve it for the purposes of freaking someone out on Craigcycle, but then remembered that I don't want to have to find a new roommate. I seriously doubt N. would stick around for long if I had *that* sitting around the apartment.

I found two bikes by different dumpsters today. Within two hours. One I gave to stainedfeathers, since the bike she got a while back is a piece of crap, and the other was the same brand as my bike, so I swiped the brake pads. Here's hoping I can get them to work.
