[Somewhere on Route 31, a few hours from the entrance to Violet, one can see (or find, should you be close enough) Shinji, sitting with his Pokemon around a fire and looking as grumpy as ever.]
Almost to Violet. Hoping that it'll be better than that Cherrygrove dump was, there was really nothing to see there 'sides for the beach. A grocery store or something'd be nice, we can't live off of these fucking berries forever.
[Next to him, there's a Rattata that nods vehemently. Apparently the mouse's tastes far exeed those of most Pokemon.]
By the way, I've got two questions for you guys listening to this: First, how the hell do we make cash around here? I'm guessing the usual ways aren't really appropriate, with all the "officers" running their asses around, asking questions and shit. Second... Anybody seen a kid wandering around, named Ken? Or a rob-- A girl named Aigis? Haven't seen anything from them in a while.
[He pauses, scowling. He looks either upset or just plain pissed off.] Not that the punk can't handle himself or anything. Or her... Tch. By the way, Mitsuru, if you see this, we need to talk about something.
