... Tch. This thing on? Whoever's on the other end, you can hear me, right? Yeah? No? [He stares at the machine for a moment, before catching sight of the record light.] Okay, I'm assuming yes.
I'm going to make this quick and painless for all of you. This whole "adventure" bullshit sounds fun and all, really, but I have more important things to do with my time. So if somebody could just tell me how the hell to get out of here and back to where I should be, I'll be on my way.
[There's a whine coming from off screen, at which point Shinji looks down, then sighs.]
... Oh yeah. She'll be coming too, so the way back better include dogs.
