A little something from the Burnley Express (Australia), reported on Aug. 15th:Wife's 'knickers' revenge on cheating husband

A woman has taken revenge on her unfaithful husband by putting a photo of his lover's knickers up for sale on eBay.
On the auction site, the woman says she is selling a picture of the lacy black knickers found in her bed after her husband's affair. They had been married 22 years.

The Australian woman says of the underwear: "They are so huge I thought they may make someone a nice shawl or, even better, something for Halloween perhaps."

She goes on to say she returned from work after receiving a romantic text message from her husband - that had been misdirected - to find him watching a DVD and trying to keep her out of the bedroom where she found "the Tart's knickers ... at the foot of the bed."

The irate woman has said her husband's Harley motorcycle is the next item that will probably be sold on eBay.

An eBay spokesman has said Inessa the listing almost did not make it online as it originally included the actual knickers for sale and eBay does not sell secondhand underwear.

"This is obviously very therapeutic for this woman and it must be a great channel for her views on cheating and the sanctity of marriage," she is reported as telling media in Australia.

I don't do a lot of texting, but I find it hard to believe that it's so difficult to keep straight who's your wife and who's your mistress when you're sending off a "let's get it on" message.  If the guy is this dumb, he was eventually going to get caught one way or another.  Then again, the story never says the couple is splitting up, only that the wife is in punishment mode.  Perhaps they're both idiots, the woman for not dumping his cheating ass, and him for putting up with punishment from someone he doesn't enjoy being married to in the first place.

So maybe they deserve each other?

"They are so huge I thought they may make someone a nice shawl . . ."  Ya really gotta love that line, though.  Does that get filed under "Bitchy" or "Catty"?

And yes, I share your relief that eBay draws the line at used undies.

idiots, news, revenge
