ss: "it's a full moon tonight, it's a full moon tonight, it's a full moon tonight"
sk: "yep, it's full alright"
ss: "it's not the sun it's the moon, it's not the sun it's the moon, it's not the sun it's the moon, it's not the sun it's the moon"
sk: "yeah, the moon"
ss: "it's not the sun it's the moon"
sk: "you're right"
ss: "it's not the sun it's the moon, it's not the sun it's the moon, it's not the sun it's the moon, it's not the sun it's the moon"
sk: "what about the moon?"
ss: "it's a full moon tonight, it's a full moon tonight, it's a full moon tonight"
sk: "where's the moon?"
ss: [giddy, bounces down the hall to a window, pointing...] "it's not the sun it's the moon, it's not the sun it's the moon, it's not the sun it's the moon, it's not the sun it's the moon..."
sk: "yep, there it is - full moon"
this was the highlight of my evening. while somewhat bizarre, i found the exchange intriguing, refreshing, and a welcome respite from the PURE UNADULTERATED CHAOS of the rest of my shift.
i can now state unequivocally, without reservations, and with authority that the rumors about the full moon and mental institutions have a solid basis in reality.
now if you will excuse me i'm gonna go have an aneurism.
