Today for my one hour lunch break I decided to do what I've done before- Eat Taco Bell in the Best Buy parking lot while listening to the Jim Rome show or Day to Day on NPR. After eating my chilli cheese burrito ,which is a rare burrito only found at selected Taco Bells, my mexi melt with no fiesta sauce, which I don't even know why exactly that I ( Read more... )

Thanks for sharing your obsession with Best Buy.

My lunch obssesion which I tried to get you hooked on is Costco.

Today, I went there for the 1.50 Polish Sausage Combo special. It's the cheapest lunch you can find (besides stale pop tarts in the vending machine) with tax it's a sweet $1.61. I like to sit facing the customers leaving with their carts full items purchased.

Shopping cart watching is a fun pasttime. I rarely look at the person pushing the cart though, I'm more interested in seeing the combination of items in their cart. Like the 2cases of water bottles holding up 2 boxes of cookies. What a wierd combo. If that was my cart, I'd have some milk in there.

After I'm done with my dawg I head over to the store part and go thru each aisle to see what's new, without anyone else around I can take my time.

Is it bad form to immediately spit out a food sample that they are handing out?

Mind you I don't currently have a membership, I just flash my old no longer valid card to enter the store and get the cheap meals in the deli counter.

I might get a membership, since I saw some stuff I want to get. They have the sturdy bedframes for 32bucks. And I'm on a quest to get my guest bedrooms with real bedding so my out of town friends(hint hint silvia..please come visit!!!) don't have to sleep on a air mattress.

so stop being a taco bell fanboi, and come over to the costco way of life.
