Weekend
FuZe was good! No idea how noise and psytrance go together, but enough people seemed to overlap between the two so it worked. Benjy and I left after Punch Inc. as we were tired, how very sensible.
Saturday, I lazed about ALL DAY on my own! It was great. Watched The Cat Returns[1]. Went to the park for spinning in the evening. Whip is going well, I learnt another crack; diablo is at a standstill, I need someone to teach me some tricks; and although I hit myself lots with poi, it was better than before, so I'm considering actually making some and practicing a bit. Met some of the spinners I've been hearing about, nice bunch; various people did things with fire, and Kate took photos (see FB). I am covered in bruises, naturally.
Today has been slow. On top of the hayfever, which has been giving me hell this year, I may have caught a cold. I can't tell! I'm often a little worse after a bad night's sleep (which I'd had), and sometimes I just get these short blips. Let's hope it's nothing too bad this time. I've been taking it easy, although I also had to do a translation - it's due in tomorrow, but I'm starting a two-week stint at Holland Park in the morning, so there won't be time. I will have Thu morning off, and three afternoons the week after that, so I hope that I won't get inundated with translation requests as well.
I also need to get back on track with my food and exercise, which went a bit by the wayside last week what with all the house stuff we were doing. And now I really need to sleep, so tired!
