and I already feel soooo much better. not perfect, obviously, but a lot more comfortable. took gwenn, the french kid, to abc yesterday and hung out with abc people-not the douche bags though, people like angus and emma and rich and paul and shawn (who got this weekend off) who I like and have missed-and it felt nice. I can't really be around the park and shit with my guest, and I think the break will do me some good, let me reconnect with people other than just dirty kids (after this month is over though, I know I'll be just aching to be around crusties again).

anyways, pretty soon I'll be blasting you guys with pictures from my trip. I'm really busy at the moment with sight-seeing all around the city lol because I gotta show gwenn all the important tourist shit. god, it feels weird to see your own home-town through the eyes of a complete stranger to it.
