Got home Thursday night to discover my computer had shut itself off and would not turn back on. So tonight I lugged it all the way over to General NanoSystems, the folks I bought it from. Fortunately, the problem was only an exhausted power supply box, so with a fresh power box in place, I was able to lug the CPU home again. Man, that thing is heavy. My wallet is lighter, but not by as much as I feared, and I also paid January's rent at the new rate.
The person in the rental office didn't object, but he's new, so I don't know if he's up on all the numbers yet.
Also, I got the last part of my Christmas present from my parents, a Three Tenors CD. Evidently the shipping company sent it to Pennsylvania by mistake, so it took a while to get here. Thanks, Mom and Dad!
I could get some overtime tomorrow, but I ache, so I don't know if I'll be up to going in to work.
Also, my Internet seems even slower than usual tonight. Don't know why, exactly, but broadband is looking better and better.
