No real surprises there...
We landed safely in Edmonton last night, in fact our flight landed a little early. It was 9-something Edmonton time, which to us was 11 something... by the time we got deplaned, got our luggage, got to where we were staying and met back up with little_mcturtle, went for a drink, it was 2 am E-time, which was 4 am for us from the T-Dot. Got settled in to our dorm room and went to bed. I discovered this morning that construction at the U of A starts around 7 am, so I was awake. It's now almost 10 am here in E-town, but my body's still lagged and feeling that it's almost noon (which means I'm starving!). Meeting up with miagolare for breakfast soon, then hopefully will see little_mcturtle and get our plans for the rest of the day.
We're staying in res at the U of A until Monday, and the room that Ray and I have is a two-person twin bed room... so we slept in separate beds last night. It was too hot to snuggle up in one twin bed, though we've done it many times before. There's no AC in here, and the heat was on when we got here! We found an unrestricted wireless network, so we can haz interwebz here! Yippee!
Just got a text from miagolare, gonna go meet her for brekkie now.
