Today, Saturday, we headed down to Freemantle. & I love this place cos its like a little place along the harbour, with white sailboats and such a lovely seaside atmostphere complete with a jetty and boardwalk.
The first thing that made my day was a little sausage dog called SID. I immediately feel in love with it and it was so friendly and kept wanting to sit on my lap and give me kisses on my face. It was also quite cute that its owner was a tough guy with a little puppy in an army vest to toughen up its image. haha a BOGEN with a puppy according to Ivan.
SO ADORABLE. I've always wanted a sausage dog!! And for my dreams to come true even more, I want to hug a Corgi!!!! Anyways, had lunch at the famous Cicerello's - fish and chips, salt and pepper squid and more chilli mussels! This has probably been the BEST fish and chips I've ever eaten. The fish is so fresh, the batter so light and crispy, not even the slightest hint of overdone or underdone. And this is probably a lot coming from me since I'm not and never have been a fan of fish and chips!! I can't believe I even thought of skipping the famous fish and chips.
& there is no better way to end off a lovely meal with dessert!
So on our way to the flea markets at freemantle, we spotted a busker who was quite amazing. I forgot his name but it was quite fanastic especially since his last name was Chocolate!
Freemantle Markets,
& the weirdest thing of the day was that Jas walked into an adult shop just to see what its like. I had no idea what they were doing cos I was on my cellphone trying to change my prepaid card's plan and next thing I knew there were adult mags all over, costumes and all kinds of devices around GROSS. I can't believe that girl actually took pictures of plastic stuff around SO GROSS. and after that she regretted and made me delete all those photos she took. OMG my poor eyes.
Then we met up with Dennis for dinner at Northbridge! Initally we wanted Thai so we walked again (why are we always walking for our food?!) but the place was closed so we ended up going Korean which was pretty awesome as well.
Then they headed to Icey Ice for dessert which I skipped cos I was just simply too full. Its a mix between icecream and ice kachang. Quite a strange texture I must say but I didnt like the flavour cos Jas ordered it in green tea.
Dennis and his finacee Sarah!
Okay there you go! Another long wordy, picture filled entry. I hate doing backlogs on my blogging so am up late to finish it! Hopefully I can keep up the tempo the coming days. Nando's again for lunch tomorrow! I can't wait I love nandos and I'm so going to order at least half a chicken to devour. Am so going to get fat aft this trip. (but fat & happy!)
