tonsil trouble, yuck.
Bad news: unless I want to deal with throat troubles for the rest of my life, I need to get my tonsils removed. And apparently it's the most painful for teenagers and I will incapacitated for up to two weeks.
Good news: I don't need to get it done right away.
I figure one oral surgery before college is enough (I'm getting my wisdom teeth taken out), so I've decided to get my tonsils out during winter or spring break... the doctor I saw is apparently one of the best ENT doctors in NY, so at least I know I'll be in good hands.
So besides that unfortunate news, the city was fun. Dinner at Blue Water Grill (my favorite) and I bought a real pair of heels for the first time. I tried to walk around in them, but it was too painful. They were only $30, and I figure I will get used to them eventually.
I counted today, and I head for college in 40 days. 40 DAYS!
