The work week started rather quietly, as with most of my Mondays given the time difference with the US. Spent the morning sorting my work for the year and the afternoon getting shit done.
Post work, Faye and I went for Vinyasa, after over a year's hiatus from yoga.
I was surprised by the number of mats laid out in the room. It was so full there were hardly any distance between each mat; we could literally see the pores of our neighbour. While the instructor didn't go around correcting our postures, his instructions were great; and we managed to follow him even though we were complete newbies at the studio. Some of the positions were really tricky, and at times it felt like the 50 minute class was never ending. When it finally ended though, I did feel a lot more relaxed and rejuvenated, despite all the perspiration.
Didn't succumb to a heavy dinner (yay) but I did have a spoonful of peanut butter with my fruits (oh the joy).
Day 4 - Pull Ups Managed two very controlled releases of 2 seconds at 90 degrees, 2 seconds at 135 degrees and the last second fully extended. The next two were of wider angles, but more controlled as well. The last was a complete flop, but at least I'm making a tiny bit of progress, I think. :)
Last thing before I head off to gingerly read that very crummy library book: SOME PEOPLE JUST DON'T GET THE HINT. I have ignored or rejected all requests to go out, sent perfunctory replies after a very long delay to almost every message, AND ignored the last messages, yet I still get random unsolicited texts which irk the shit out of me.
Get with the program, dude, I am simply not keen on even entertaining the potential of getting to know you better.
What did you expect, when I had politely asked what your 2016 goals were, you responded with "Lol what do i need in life now? Find a companion !". With something like that, I don't think I or anyone can take you seriously.
I'm going to continue ignoring, in order to keep in line with another of my goals to be kind in both speech and action. This is proving to be very difficult :P
