WHOA! INTENSE! INCREDIBLE! WE HAVE TO WAIT HOW LONG FOR THE 7TH BOOK?!
I am curious as to where the Snape thing is headed, he being the Half-Blood Prince and all.
I can't say I'm entirely shocked that the ultimate casualty in the 6th novel is Dumbledore. Really, he *had* to die -- the ancient archtypes so eloquently and thoroughly outlined by Joseph Campbell tell us so. The whole series is the hero's journey, and like Luke Skywalker and Simba and Odysseus and Gilgamesh, Harry had to lose his mentor, the one whose advice he cherishes the most, in order to take the final step in the journey, self-actualization.
But as for how Harry ultimately triumphs, I can't wait to read it!
