An extension on the sexuality post
We had a sexuality post a month ago or so, but I wanted to discuss the ambiguity of sexuality in Skins a little bit further.
Franky has been established as pansexual, Emily was established as a lesbian, and Maxxie was established as gay. The rest of the characters were never explicitly given a sexuality. Some were implied as straight and we never really questioned it (like Chris, Jal, Sid, JJ, Pandora, etc). For others, it either hasn't been established (Mini, Nick [I am still clinging to the hope that he's at least bi], Matty) or it has been left open-ended (Tony, Cassie, Naomi, Frook).
What are your thoughts? Especially about the ones who haven't been established/are open-ended. And do you think any of the straight characters had a more fluid sexuality than what was canon on the show?
