Yesterday was not an on track day but I didn't think it would be!

Firstly there was no exercise because - oh my god how much did my thighs hurt!! Very definitely not used to squats, lunches, etc because I could FEEL it. It was nowhere near as bad as when I first did my LBT class but I was still struggling going down stairs and lowering myself onto things. So it was a definite rest day.

Everything else went tits up because of the football. I had several bottled beers and then some JD and coke. Slightly more than I intended to be fair, but then it was extra painful.

Food wise it wasn't hideous. Usual breakfast, home made wedges for lunch (during said match) and pasta with a plain tomato sauce in the evening. Only real bad point was the slightly tipsy cheese toastie at about 10pm.

I have to say I find it a lot harder to eat thoughtfully in the summer months. In the winter soups and veggies make up a very large proportion of my diet, in the summer it's just not the weather where I want to eat them so aside from salads 2 or 3 times a week I'm very reliant on sandwiches and pasta/rice dishes. Carb heaven. And as much as I do like salads I don't think I could do them 7 days a week. I really need to find some new ideas for alternatives.

I'm still aware og my thighs today but they're much improved. I'm going to go give the EA active a shot now for my daily exercise, then have dinner and treat myself to the latest episode of True Blood :)
