My new goodies arrived this morning - good times! Very intrigued by the EA one but decided to leave it alone today as the weather is absolutely gorgeous and I wanted to make the most of it. I knew if I'd put that on I would have ended up spending a good couple of hours playing and faffing with settings.

I opted for trying out the 30 Day Shred instead. As my first session I did find it tough, however a lot of the exercises (strength training in particular) were very similar to what I used to do in my LBT class with the Russian ballerina. So I know I have the ability to do them without that vomit feeling, it's just going to take a good few sessions to build my strength and stamina up to that level again!

My main issue was space really. I have the space for one thing at a time but I had to stop a lot to move my mat around so I could lie with my arms out, or extended my legs the right way, etc. I don't have the luxury of being in a nice gym studio with nothing around me! Once I've seen it a few times though I will be more familiar with the routine so I can set myself up in one spot for the duration, and also know when I'll be needing my weights so can leave them within reach! It ended up taking me much longer that 20mins with all of that as I kept having to rewind to go back to the start of the sets.

I also suffer from "tender arse" and even with a mat I find crunches and things hurt my butt/hips on a hard surface, so I also had to keep grabbing a flattish pillow to counteract that.

All in all, I can definitely see how it's going to work. I don't think I'll be doing it every day but I want to incorporate it at least 3 times a week into everything else I do/will be doing.

Oh, and I *really* felt it afterwards, I've been a bit bambi legged today, especially when it comes to stairs!

So that was my exercise for the day, now food:

Eggs x2 + Toast x2
Salad with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, half a tin of tuna in brine, about 6 miniture new potatoes and small dollop reduced fat/cal mayo
1 x apple with peanut butter
Half a margharita pizza (545cals)
Rhubarb yoghurt (99)

Drinks wise, all water and squash with a small amount of skimmed milk.

Oh and 1 x Bud :)

ETA: Also, I was seemingly 255.6lbs this morning. I expect it to rise up tomorrow as I'm sure my muscles will be retaining fluid because they're definitely still in "OMG, WTF ARE YOU DOING!!!" mode.
