Thankful for some Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving was pretty awesome I must say. It couldn't have come at a better time either. I am so sick of the caf food and just being cooped up in Ernest Burnham all day. It's nice to be home. It's nice to be done with Pajama Game, which went very well and was a good time. It's nice to be almost done with the semester. WHICH flew by! Man, it seems like just last month we checked in for the semester...crazy. Nervous for some of my exams. Aural comp performance proficiency to be exact. If I don't pass this then I will have to take the class over next semester and I just don't think I can handle that class again. SO send good thoughts next Monday at 8:50 I believe is the time I have to take this fucking test.
Looking forward to break. I need a break from school. Gah, I have had enough of my classes this semester. Next semester should be better though. I will be in Andrew Lippa's "The Wild Party", so that should be pretty freaking awesome. There will be a great cast of kids and the show has some great music. SO this should be a fun adventure. I will be playing the role of Jackie. A suffering dancer/party boy without a tongue. Should be a breeze...hah. No, I am super excited, it's the role I went in secretly hoping for. These characters are all so dark and complex, it should be so much fun delving in. And it will be peformed in my favorite theatre in Gilmore, the multi-form theatre! SO I can't wait...all who can make it should come.
Over break I will be working at the bowling alley and actually performing for a week at Tibbits. I was offered a neat little job doing this children's theatre thing with some old friends, Thorn Silvertree, Laura Brown and Hillary Hernandez Anthony. That should also be a nice little reunion/fun gig to keep me sane and occupied over break.
Well I will end this update and go to bed, I suppose. I am working at the bowling alley tomorrow, actually. First time since June...should be interesting.
