(no subject)
Wow. It really has been a long time since my last update.
I've been pretty busy lately, but not busy enough to not update. Just lazy in the livejournal sense. I read other people's whenever I check my mail at the theatre, but just don't feel like taking the time to write. So I will take the time right now.
I came home after we ran the show last night. The show being "You Can't Take it With You". WHich I am in a total of 60 seconds. I play a G-man at the end of act 2. Say two lines and wait till the curtain drops (there are three acts in this show) so you can imagine how much I am loving this show. It's a pretty good show, but I am just sick of it. We all are. It's over rehearsed. It's time we have an audience. Which we will, since tonight is opening night.
Gypsy went all right. It's over, so that is good. Gypsy is probably one of my favorite musicals...but this production put a bad taste in my mouth, unfortunately.
I came home after rehearsal last night so I could laundry, and that is what I am currently up to. I will get my haircut before I head back to Coldwater as well.
Wow. I am boring.
Charlotte's Web also opened last weekend and it went really really well. I am having so much fun with this show. Our director is a Western alum. Nicole Gilman. She is awesome, I love her. She'll be in Whorehouse, too. So that will be fun. I am looking forward to Whorehouse and They're Playing Our song...so something to look forward to I suppose.
The people are all really cool here. We all get along, so that's good. We don't really all do stuff as a group though, so that sucks. Everyone lives in different houses around COldwater and Quincy, so we never see each other...well other than at rehearsals. I hope things start picking up soon. Don't get me wrong, I am loving it at Tibbits. Things are just rather slow right now. They will pick up soon though, I'm sure.
