You're Just What I Needed...
I'm a person who believes people come into our lives for reasons, whether they be good or bad. Since 2010, I've had more and more people come into my life who are very sex and body positive. These are exactly the type of people I've always wanted to be around because, well, I've always been a pervert and this has helped me to broaden my horizons of what I consider to be beautiful, sexy, what have you. Generally, that boils down to confidence. I think we can all agree on that. For the last few months, I've slowly developed more friendships with people who are polyamorous. For as long as I can remember, poly has fascinated me. In my younger days, I thought that I could be in poly relationships. Who knows, maybe if I hadn't got together with Andrew so early in my adulthood, that's what would have happened. It's times like this when I wish I could peer into alternate realities to see what could have been. I feel like I sometimes live vicariously through these new friends of mine. *lol* It's pretty clear to me that poly relationships are not without their problems and, in fact, are quite similar to monogamous ones (i.e. jealousy, time management, etc) - they just involve more people and more feelings to tiptoe around. I don't have the energy or patience for that. Hahahaha! One person has been working just fine for me.
