I Wanna Stop...

Okay! My first order from The All Natural Face came in the other day and I've tried the products out. So, let's go!

Magic Vegan Eyeshadow Primer - The main reason I got this was because I wanted to get away from the chemical-laden Urban Decay Primer Potion. I tried another natural primer before with poor results. I thought UDPP had stopped being a cruelty-free product as well, but I can't seem to find that info right now. Anyway, I have hooded eyes so primer is necessary. Unfortunately, I don't find Magic Vegan Eyeshadow Primer to be as effective as UDPP. With UDPP, my eyeshadow would stay in place for well over 12 hours. So far, MVEP hasn't lasted a workday without my eyeshadow creasing. That's disappointing. However, I am giving the benefit of the doubt that perhaps I haven't figured out how much to use (i.e. more or less) so it could be that after awhile I'll figure it out and change my mind. As it is right now, not terribly happy with this product. Perhaps I would be better off trying Oily Lid Primer.

Vegan Gel Liner - Mayan Gold - Love this! The colour is very nice and I think it would look beautiful against black or dark brown eyeshadows or liners. I used it with a purple eyeshadow and it looked quite nice. Very happy with this gel liner and I will order more colours, particularly black.

Dark Plum Vegan Lengthening and Volumizing Mascara - While I can't say my eyelashes look more voluminous, they do look longer and I'm happy with this mascara. Natural mascaras don't do the same job as "regular" mascaras, but you can kind of add layers to it. So apply one layer for a more natural look, let it dry, add another to make it more noticeable. Totally happy with this mascara and it's a cheaper alternative to 100% Pure.

Vegan Nude Lipstick - This took a bit getting used to. It's very creamy and soft compared to "regular" lipsticks that I've used. I find applying a bit, even just dabbing it on, and smoothing with my finger does the trick for this one particularly with wanting a nude/pale lip look. It does look a bit white-ish on me, but I'm totally happy with that and quite like that look. I'm interested in trying their lip glosses as well.

My order also came with a few samples including a toner and brushes which was very cool.

I'm definitely going to be ordering more products from The All Natural Face. The shipping price is very low which is a bonus and the products are all reasonably priced. I'm really bummed out though that it's hard to find a natural eyeshadow primer that works as well as UDPP.
