18th book of 2012 completed. The Diary of a Young Girl (The Definitive Edition) by Anne Frank.
Likelihood of me recommending this book to anyone (out of 5) - 5, obviously. We never read this book in school which I always found odd and somewhat troubling. We had to read one of the worst books in history, The Catcher in the Rye (I never read it; I got cheat notes off the internet *lol*), but not Anne Frank's diary. Bizarre. Anyway, I decided to read it and I think everyone should, particularly the definitive edition which has additions that had previously been omitted (i.e. Anne's entries relating to her budding sexuality, etc).
