Girl, You Look Good Enough To Eat...
As much as I love Manic Panic's Mystic Heather, it has been pretty disappointing.
1. The jar, swatch, and pictures online show it to be a light purple colour. It went more on the pink side for me, which is fine.
2. I found it didn't colour evenly compared to other Manic Panic colours I've used. I rubbed it, combed it in, and let it sit for several hours and there ended up being patches that were a light cotton candy pink.
3. *biggest complaint* I applied it 2 weeks ago as of tomorrow, only washed my hair every second day (and, in fact, I washed it even less than that), and I've already had to reapply it because it faded to the point that in some spots it went back to blonde. That's including the fact I tinted my shampoos and conditioner with the dye. I've never had a dye fade so quickly before.
*sigh* I may get another jar of it and just consider reapplying every week or so because I've come to really enjoy this colour. If I get fed up with that, maybe I'll opt for a darker purple colour in the amplified formula, like Purple Haze or Ultra Violet...or maybe Cotton Candy Pink.
