My first naturally occuring period! I'm surprised how on schedule it is to when I was on the pill. Maybe it's my body's force of habit. Who cares, as long as it's roughly around the same time and I can guesstimate when to expect it, I'm happy! So far, no gross feeling or anything bad like when I was on the pill. In fact, short of PMS insomnia *shakes fist* and a couple of bitchy bouts leading up to it, it's going well. Still quite sleepy, but that's to be expected. Can't kick the period carb craving or feeling of indecisiveness about everything that comes with the time of the month, hahaha! The good thing about the bitchy bouts and the insomnia was I was able to feel that it was PMS and not something else. Body awareness is great. No sore boobs and no major bloating like when I was on the pill. Maybe the bloat will start tomorrow or maybe not.
Oh, that
Buncha Farmers Stain Remover? Fucking AWESOME! Takes out blood like a champ.
I'm getting an allergy test from my naturopath to see what food allergies I have and if they're the cause of my skin problems (eczema patches, often on my face/neck and arm, and sometimes hives). Coffee seems to now be an allergen (my skin cracks and gets eczema, thus I look like a meth addict) and I'm wondering if soy is one, too. That would be a gigantic pain in the ass, especially as a vegan. Soy is practically in everything! Maybe if I would just have soy products in moderation it would be fine. Since last week, I've cut down the soy levels massively by using almond milk and So Delicious ice cream treat that's soy-free. I did have some soy milk yesterday and, so far, no sort of reaction that I can tell so maybe it isn't a problem for me. The allergy test will certainly be helpful. I've even considered doing some very, very minor tanning to help my skin. Some articles I read online said small doses of tanning, so short and brief that they won't change your skin colour, may help with super dry skin and a nasty scar I have on my tummy.
I have no more books to read. And due to my indecisiveness about everything, I have no idea what I want to read next! I wandered around McNally Robinson (I have a gift card) in hopes of finding something that piqued my interest, but no luck. :(
