I'm not one for making new year (year's?) resolutions because no one ever succeeds at them. When I feel inspired to do something, I just do it (like learning to drive a scooter, relearning to drive a car, and going to the gym - woo, stuff accomplished in 2010!). So instead of calling these resolutions, I will call them potential goals that I would like to accomplish in 2011.
1. Again, get better with my money. I have gotten better with the spontaneous shopping, both online and especially in stores, and save up for/mull over purchases. I've set up a budget for me that I think I can stick by. Of course, this goal is going to get fucked when we have to replace the shingles on the house in spring as there literally goes all my savings and I'll have some more debt added on. It sucks, it really sucks big time and upsets me, but this is a home renovation that can't be put off any longer.
2. Learn Reiki. I would like to at least take one course to get a feel for it and see if I think I have a knack for it or not then go from there.
3. Get back into playing with my Tarot cards and, hopefully, become better at them.
4. Learn German. I'd like to get
Rosetta Stone for this, but it's pricey so this likely won't be accomplished any time soon.
5. Be nicer to family and friends (heck, maybe even to strangers, too!). Try to hangout with friends more often.
6. Be tidier around the house.
Happy New Year! I'm totally having a nap this afternoon.
