Give Me Fuel...

So I had a couple of issues with poor Starscream yesterday. :( First, I thought I'd scoot to work, even though it was around -4*C, because I didn't want to be around people on the bus and I was running low on tokens. Anyway, had some issue as I took off as it took awhile to speed up when normally it's zoom, off we go. I got about 3 kms from home, hit a red light, braked, and stalled. Flat out stalled and could not restart. FML. Drivers were nice though and didn't beep at me; they let me push Starscream off the road and onto the sidewalk. I pushed him into a parking lot, managed to start back up, and headed home. I hit another red light and was able not to stall, but, again, the pick up speed was taking awhile. After work, my brother in-law offered to look at him since he's a mechanic. I loaded up and decided to take side streets to their place in order to miss a major street/highway. Well, I saw a right turn that would allow me to miss more of that street so I went to make a sharp right turn at the last moment, hit some loose gravel, and BAM! Wipeout! Not impressed but I'm glad it wasn't on a major street and on cars were around. I hurt way worse today than yesterday. It seems to be mostly scuffing done to the body but my sister insists that a "chip" was taken out of it. I didn't see that unless she's referring to the foot rest which in that case, yeah, it obviously got the worst of it.  I think she just loves to "bust my balls" and me wiping out is kind of an "I told you so" for her.  Anyway, my brother in-law thinks he knows what the problem is so hopefully he'll explain it to the dealership when we take Starscream back tomorrow. :( I hope they can fix him quickly and it shouldn't cost me anything since I've only had him for 2 weeks and the warranty ("for parts and labour") is 180 days.

Oh, Starsceam... Gah, I'm sore both physically and about the situation itself.

Andrew spilled something sticky on the keyboard and mouse yesterday which apparently wasn't able to be cleaned up well because the fucking keyboard is hard to work with on the righthand side and the mouse makes a loud extra click noise. Not impressed. I have no idea how to take apart an iMac keyboard to clean the inside of it really well without damaging it. Anyone know, please post a comment.

Sarah Kramer has inspired me to want to get a velvet painting done of myself, hahaha! Andrew thinks it's arrogant, but I'm proud of that photo! I e-mailed a velvet painter to ask about doing commission and for a quote, but no response yet.

Plans for the weekend are to take Starscream to the dealership, meet with the photographers to get CD/prints (I don't have high hopes based on the sample I saw *sigh*) tomorrow afternoon, and maybe go out to my parents' place for a bit on Sunday. Haven't decided for sure yet.
