im sick of it
Its official. I'm leaving my job & going elsewhere. For the past week I have been weighing pros vs cons about staying @ Action Care vs another company, & they were coming out pretty equally. The February schedule just came out. They disregarded all of my shift & station requests & gave them to people with less seniority than me. Sick of being the person who doesn't complain & gets walked all over I called to complain. You know what I was told? That they don't think I'm ready to run real calls by myself. So they put me @ the transfer station. 1. The people who said I'm not to be trusted to run calls by myself has never worked with me. 2. Brand new or not I'm already a better medic than a lot of other people here.
I've already called northglenn ambulance & my application is going in tomorrow. I've also inquired @ a couple other companies so we'll see what happens.
