Wow, I haven't updated this thing in forever...
I hate saying good-bye. Even if he was only here for 5 weeks this year, things aren't the same. Paul is still the best soccer coach I have ever had and I don't think there's even a better one out there. He knew what to say at the right times and how to bring us up if we were feeling down. I have never seen someone bring a group of girls together like he did, it feels like we're all a family now. We all came from three different teams but now we're just one big one. He made soccer fun, and made me realize why I love it so much. The water balloon fights were awesome even if we never got him really good. Waking up at 8 am every weekday morning was something I looked forward just knowing he was going to be there coaching us. Hopefully he'll come back next year, for one last season but the chances are slim. Even if he doesn't, I know I will see him sometime, I'll make sure of it. In the meantime, I will remember everything he did for our team and the sport, and be thankful that I ever got to meet him.
Summer is flying by, as it usually does. Soccer occupies most of my time, and I always end up hanging out with those girls too. I haven't been to the beach much this summer which is kind of dumb, but each summer brings something else to offer. It seems as though each summer I go into it expecting the same thing, and it gives back to me a little something different. I guess it keeps you on your toes, because you never know what's coming next or what to expect. You just have to hop on and enjoy the ride :)
I better go mow the lawn though, I tend to do that a lot too, lol.
Don't take anything granted, just be grateful for every opportunity you're presented with...
