"... When there's no one else"
Chris is going to URI (University of Rhode Island) on a full scholarship for football.
I'm going to be stuck here for the rest of my life, like every other miserable person in this town just waiting for their chance to leave.
They all would've left so long ago if they knew there was actually a world outside this little borough of bars, churches, and playgrounds.
We only have 1 stop light.
In this entire maddened town. We only have 1 stop light.
How is this even allowed?
So that's one friend down. Long, long gone by this time next year i'm sure.
I should really just stop talking to everyone that's going away to school now. By August it won't hurt so much to see them going off to colleges hours away and me being stuck here, until the end of time, without them.
I don't like this part of being a senior.
But, here's to letting go.
