summer break
Hey All,
So I've been home now for a week and a half but its kind of felt like longer, but I'm happy its going by slowly because usually breaks seem to go by ridiculously fast. So while I've been home I've seen all my good v-town friends a bunch of times. We first met up at Starbucks enjoyed some drinks and talks of college life and what not. Then we headed over to Em's house where we watched two episodes of Sex in the City...fun time. Tuesday and Wednesday I went to see the Girl's Lax team play and it was upsetting to watch because they lost both the games and I know they could have won both of them. They just don't seem together this year, somethings lacking. On Wed. Becca came and we watched together and we were both saying we almost got anhurisms watching the game haha. But it was good to see some of the girls, I really do miss that team and I miss the sport sooo much. I just wanted to jump on in there and play.. So thursday Megs and I went out to eat Chinese which was nice, and then afterwards we went back to my house and watched some tv. Got a call from Becca and we headed on over to her house to watch the O.C with her, Jess K and F, and Em. Although Megs and I don't watch the O.C it was fun to just chill and make little comments about that show. Becca was tired so after the show we headed out but Em wanted to stay out longer so Me, her, Megs and Jess F went up to High Lawn for a little and enjoyed the view. Then Megs got hungry so we headed over to Pilgrim Diner. It was a fun night and after some rootbeer floats, and milkshakes we all headed home. We all were gonna meet up again on Saturday for dinner, but plans changed and on Friday night Me, Megs, Jess K, Em and Becca wen to Bennagins for dinner. It was a fun time and the food was good. After dinner we went to my house and rented anchor man on demand, which is always a fun movie to watch. Saturday was a Caldwell day..Patrick Trish and I went out to eat at Lonestar, and then spent the night hanging out. We picked up Trish's friend Mo and on the way to Highlawn (because Patrick wanted to test out his new camera) Mike called and we picked him up as well. Went Highlawn, took some pictures and then headed back to Mike's house where we watched Cabin Fever..good movie up until the end which completely ruined the entire thing. So I had a good week and its def. nice to be home. But I'm alittle pissed because my ankle just does not seem to be getting better. I can put weight on it now, but it feels uncomfortable everytime I do..I've been doing exercises to get the motion in my ankle back and thats going slow...going to the doctor on Tuesday to see what he says..maybe theres an underlying problem there that I don't know about. Its pretty much hindered my chances of getting my job at the vets office because I can't move around very well and I wouldn't be able to lift heavy things and walk at the same time...soooo my dad is trying to see what he can set up for me at his office..hopefully something there works out..I also haven't been able to workout like I've wanted. I've been able to do crunches and pushups and stuff but that doesn't cut it..oh well not going to rant anymore about this stupid ankle..umm so yeah thats been my first week home and there are only gonna be more good times to come..
