Savoring
I savored the dog looking happy and wagging his tail.

Gratitude
1. I'm grateful for a happy dog.
2. I'm grateful for a mother and brother who knew we needed a happy dog, even when my dad and I didn't.
3. I'm grateful for the neighbor who sent over some food the other day. The leftovers were delicious.
4. I'm grateful for the alumni who were willing to come speak with the students again this week. The group is small but mighty.
5. I'm grateful for good friends like Juliana to catch up with.

Social Connection
I had a good meeting this afternoon with Aaron and David. We also had a very successful alumni mixer and I chatted with Juliana for about an hour.

Kindness
I mailed a letter for my dad.

Exercise
I did 30 minutes of yoga and took the dog for a walk.
I also slept well.

Meditation
I did a 5 minute Meditation with Adirene with positive sayings.
*******
DailyOM
I did talk to someone who increased my energy level - Juliana.
I did make the bed.
I did wear form fitting clothes (though still not clear on the why).
I didn't notice the sounds, trees, weeds in the sidewalk while I walked.

If I operate 5% more self-responsibly today with my words...
My work meetings will be less stressful.
My ideas will be communicated clearer.
I will cause less confusion.
I will start to think clearer.

If I operate 5% more self-responsibly with others...
My interactions will be more genuine.
My interactions with people I don’t like will be less stressful.
My words will cause less damage, because if they’re not kind, I just won’t use them.
I will get more of what I want.

If I accept full responsibility for my own happiness...
I will stop assuming people can read my mind.
I will be in control of all my reactions.
My actions and reactions will be the source of my happiness.

I am becoming aware...
I put too much onus on others to know what I expect of them without having clearly communicated my needs.

I don't think I avoided taking responsibility for my words and actions at all today. It makes me feel confident to know I have said what I meant to say.
