Coming out of exile, I'm here to throw a few crazy comments around the dear ol' eljay before I vanish again.
Firstly, yes I was grounded. Still am, but my mum let me on to join the HP mania. So I'm typing this as fast as humanely possible. :D
SPOILERS GALORE.
IT WAS ADORABIBBLE. I loved it. I'm not comparing it to the book, so I find it the best of all the movies so far.
The baby Thestral has gotta be the cutest little thing ever. Next to Luna and her shoes. xD
And I dunno about everybody else, but Harry's possesion scene sent chills down my spine. Especially the whole eye-change=colour effect. Extra cool.
AND I CAN TELL THEY WERE RUBBIN' IT IN ABOUT HARRY AND POOR SIRIUS. *sobs*
Snape was awesome. Alan Rickman is awesome. Especially with him appearing in the Mirror in Harry's memory. Way whacked. I loved that part. And the pants flashback! Whoever it is who played younger!Snape ... I really need to look him up. *goes profile-hunting on IMDb*
Oooh, and Neville! He's officially my favourite movie character. And on my top ten of favourite book character.
Harry and Cho kissed for a whole 19 seconds. I know. I timed my stopwatch to 'em. :|
That's all I think oh wait! Bellatrix Lestrange. She's nuts. Like, cuckoo like whoa.
OK now I'm done.
And now, on to ....
Firstly, Merlin's most baggy Y-fronts? WTF, Ron? :|
OK. This book is gut-wrenchingly, nerve-wrackingly, tongue-twistingly, nose-twitchingly, spine-tinglingy AWESOME. I could find more adjectives, but I'm a little short on time here. My only regret is that JKR didn't show us more about immediately after Voldemort's downfall, y'know, how the wizarding world pulled themselves back together.
I wanted to see godfather!Harry cuddle baby!Teddy DAMMIT. D:
? NAlMighty Morphin' Power Rangers, but then I was only six at that time. :p So yeah. And their kids! Rose and Hugo! And um, I'm not too sure since that my mum is reading my book, who is Victoira or somethin' like that? The one who was snogging Teddy? I'm confused. Too many names.
AND SNAPE. OMGPOORSNAPE. This was all just a tragic love stooooory! *bursts into tears*
But y'know, I cried when Hedwig died. :( And George's lost ear. He could still joke about it. BUT FRED. *wails* George is all alone nooooow. They're not the Weasley twins anymore. And Remus, and Tonks, leaving Teddy behind. And Colin Creevey, he was my favourite sideline character! AND DOBBY. I never thought he'd go that way. It's all so SAD. I'm just a tad bit miserable JKR didn't show enough mourning, enough post-war sadness/happiness. :(
On a brighter note ... Kreacher is so darn lovable. I never thought I'd say that, ever.
What did everyone else think about the part where Ron destroyed the locket? Where the ghostly Harry and Hermione started kissing right in fron of him. I was all ... poor Ron. He's been carrying that insecurity around as much as he had carried the locket. I WANNA HUG HIM.
There are so many more things I wanna say but ... I guess I'll reread the book and write them next time.
