YAY for rain! *dances like Rumplestiltskin*
For some time now, the air has been so dry here. The trees are already loosing their leaves. If it were not for the heat I would think we have already started autumn.

Yesterday, we had a heavy cloud cover. I thought it was going to rain then, but not a drop anywhere around. It did help make our outtings to the appointments mentioned previously go well. Hubby surprised us and took us out to lunch at a country resturant called Brown's. Ah if anyone is ever traveling in the Little Rock area of Arkansas, you have to stop there for a bite. It's got everything! I did eat too much. Then went to explore in the little country store that is in the next rooms. My little one and I love the old fashioned candy. Homemade salt water taffy and fudge of just about any kind. Mmm We were able to resist this time and only bought rock candy on a stick. These were flavored. I did not know they came that way. I have not started on mine yet. Of course kids gobble them up.

We came home, stuck in a movie. I only remember seeing the beginning and the end. I had a good nap that I didn't know I needed.

The sky had cleared and I thought that the chance for rain had passed. *sad*

Went to bed late. I stuck in a tape I recorded of one of the Poirot movies to watch. Good.

Woke this morning to what?.... RAIN! And it's still raining! YAY! We need for this to last at least a week. Hubby said that it's so hot that the trees are trying to bribe the dogs.
