I got my sleep! / "Those old discs"
Sleep has been scarce lately. For me, the insomnia is not a factor this time. My hubby and daughter have been driving me crazy with their insomnia. LOL! One sleeps while the other is up and I'm strung along with both. I think I screamed enough yesterday from lack of sleep. Poor guys. lol. We have been sleeping until about 1:30 pm for the past few days, just because THEY can't seem to sleep at night. I did finally get the sleep I needed just last night. YAY! I got to wake up early. Hubby was at work. Little one was sleeping and I finally got to get work done in the house that was much needed. YAY! I even got to sit here at the computer and just look around some. YAY!

I dread tomorrow. My son has a couple of routine appointments at the hospital. I dread the heat. I should be ashamed of not wanting to leave my cubby hole... my house. I know it's just for tomorrow only. Oh well.

My little one asked me if I would take her somewhere yesterday. I know I was cranky, but I did promise. She chose to go to one of those indoor flea markets... mainly it's old junk or antiques that are sold there. It was indoor and cooler than going to the park. I can't believe how she likes to look at old things and she is only just a little kid. She kept commenting on how it stinks in there. LOL! At one time, I found a place where they kept the old 78's (or is it 38's my memory is gone). I mentioned to her that this was what we used to listen to when I was a kid. They didn't have CD's back then. I tried to show her but at first she was looking in a different direction while listening to me. She said she knows what I was talking about, that her memaw showed her "those old discs" that she had from a long time ago. LOL! I told her those are called records. LOL! She peeked over at what I was holding up and said, "Yep. That's it."

I had fun being a kid today. I showed my little one the best way to make a fort in her room. She thought the best way was to make one in living room. I said no. Her room, so I showed her it can be done. She said she's sleeping with it tonight. :D

Ooo. Jaws is on TV. I'm settling in for tv tonight. Sending my little one to bed early since we need to be up early.
