Things I've learned
Feeling the need to write, since I haven't in a looong time, but feeling too lazy about writing to post anything super long. So, here's a summary list of things I've learned since I wrote last.
1. Work is a lot more fun when my supervisor is away. (Corollary: While having Scott gone makes work more fun, having Lisa, the head tech, gone, makes it LESS fun)
2. It's awesome to see the people I miss there, but the Asheville I loved for so long really doesn't exist anymore.
3. I enjoy my family a lot more from across the county. Well, that's only somewhat true.
4. Logan sucks as much as I remember it, and is just as boring.
5. Despite #s 2, 3, and 4, Appalachia will always be Home, and I'll always consider my hills to be the prettiest place on Earth.
6. Despite #5, I've really grown to love Portland and all my friends here, and was surprised at how glad I was to get home.
7. You can have two places you call home.
8. Karaoke is a LOT of fun, and my friends are all fantastic at it.
9. Miles should have started a metal band.
10. My apartment will never be clean unless I clean it myself.
