quik update
Just doin the whole fasting thing and studying for magical midterms that mysteriously appeared out of nowhere.
from thursday to saturday me, my mom, a couple of co-workers and some bosses went on the canada 911 motorcycle ride as mikey volunteers, the organizer of the ride donated a brand new 2006 Honda VTX 1300 to the mikey network to sell raffle tickets to raise money for the network, the bike was finally raffled off on friday night of the trip. starting on thursday at kingston, we travelled with 200 motocyclist, and 50 cops to ottawa, algonquin then gravenhurst and back with about 4 stops each day (3 gas stops and 1 lunch). was quite the experience, everywhere we travelled the officers would go ahead and block all intersections and onramps as the ride passed by, quite fun to go 200km/h without having to stop for cars, stop signs or traffic lights (especially at parliment hill in ottawa). in the end we sold 2000 raffle tickets at 10 bucks each as well as a silent auction raising 5000 bucks. pictures of the ride will probably be up on facebook soon.
