Yawnnnn. Well, "they" say it takes three days for the body to adjust to a new time zone/schedule, but I'm not buying it, 'cos today was the third day and all I thought when I woke up was, "This is getting old."

yeah I'm not buying it either. I'm not a huge fan of getting up before the sun. It was cutting it close before, but now I'm definitely up when it's still dark out and "dark" spells "sleeptime". Nooot my cup of tea at all.

I put the herbal away a little earlier than usual last night and loaded Apo, and played a bit, but eh ... I couldn't get inspired. I keep going back to the old style, mostly with a Julianscope FX, but while I enjoyed playing, nothing really struck me as render-worthy (well, other than something I called "Insect Evangelist," which was more interesting for the title than the fractal - I enjoy making weird nightmarish critters with that Julianscope FX.) I think I'm suffering from a lack of inspiration. I also think I need to go find some of the newer plug-ins. And then I can start begging you for pointers on what to do with them. ;)

I'd be more than apo to give you pointers :D
you and I reaaaally need to chat sometime, Susan, I'm sure you'd a)find insipiration and b)we could find other stuff to do/talk about.

What's your schedule looking like this week? I'm having to slow down with the manuscript, 'cos my elbow's acting up, so I may come looking for you.

Your clocks went forward already? Ours don't move til 30th March. Whoo!

Have you got the breaking hat on today or something?

Our clocks went forward three weeks earlier than they usually do because some idiot thinks it's going to save energy. I can't imagine why they'd think that, since the lights have to be turned on in the house until the sun comes up. A week later, and I'm still not used to it.

And yeah, I think the gremlins were hiding out under my desk (which is a risky place if they value their necks.) My chair has magically fixed itself, but the pull-out shelf that the keyboard sits on is still propped up with a board. I've been saying I need a new desk for about three years, but what I really need is this one rebuilt or one exactly like this one custom built, because it's perfect for all my "stuff."
