Sick
I have finally succumbed to the ick that has been going around. In a way the timing isn't too bad because it held off long enough for me to complete and submit a rather important proposal at school, but in another way it is very bad timing because it means my first metal's project of the semester will be late. I was going to make myself go to school and work on it today, but I got barely any sleep last night and the post nasal drip is bad enough to make me retch from time to time. Nobody wants to be around that and I don't want to share it.
So now my plan is stay home, drink tea, try to get some more sleep, and do schoolwork that doesn't require too much energy. I'm sure I'll also end up doing housework and photographing jewelry for Etsy listings because I am very bad at pampering myself when I'm sick like this. I'm sick, but not totally knocked onto my ass. I'd almost rather be completely knocked out than in this "Sick but feels good enough to berate self for not going to school."
