Robert, I dont know quite what to say to cheer you up, or if that is even possiable, but I know how you feel, how shitty it feels not to live up to parental standards or even your own personal standards, and how outcasted one feels when they come here and aren't the best. But just because you are getting a B at OES doesnt mean that you aren't smart, everyone else here is freakishly, and abnormally brilliant. Parents need to understand what it is like to go to OES,and that is something that prolly wont happen anytime soon. And your personal goals, are you personal goals, but you cant beat yourself up if you dont reach every standard. A "B" at OES is a really good grade, there are ppl that are doing much worse. Just because you dont do as well as some of the ppl there, doesnt mean it is going to hurt your chances getting into college, the colleges will look at your record and say that you went to a prep school, tryed hard, and although you werent the top you still did very well. Whether you believe this or not is your own choice. You have alot of ppl at oes that care about you, and hate to see you down, so i hope that this helped, and we are here if you ever need to talk.
