Random observation
When I took puppy out to potty this morning, I drank in what might be the last fresh snowfall of the season. I noticed how the heavy, wet snow literally halved the hedges along the yard (which will probably be removed this year...finally!), and how the snow clung to the tree branches as if to say "No, I don't want to go yet!" Aside from the meltoff slowly going drip-drip-drip in the garage downspout, it was eerily silent.
But the coolest thing of all was the sky. It was a pussy willow silver-gray, and it hasn't changed even though it's now going on 2 PM. It's almost like I can reach out and touch the silky softness.
Just....very cool. :)
