Day 6. Talk.
Talk is cheap. That's what we always hear people say, but in the context of this verse, talk is more than cheap. It is the main focus of this verse. This verse is telling us to control our talk. Our talk can either get us in trouble, get us praise, or just get us by. And of course, that's with different situations, too.
What you may say may not make God happy, but it may make your friends happy. Would you rather your friends be happy with you than your God be happy with you? Also, what you say may glorify God, but insult your friends. Again, which is more important to you? You should find friends that would be happy with glorifying God.. and maybe try to persuade those other friends.
Anyway.. talk is more than cheap. Your tongue is the evilest part of your body, so watch what you say. Talk is more than cheap.
